About Us

Multiplay Music was initially formed in 1978, as Cat’s-Eye Music, to represent songs being written and recorded by the BBC Radio Orchestra for BBC Radio 2 Sessions.
The company was acquired by Kevin White in 1987 and over a number of years evolved into publishing song-writer John Peppard (Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood), managing song-writer Pelle Nylén (Westlife and Steps) and representing a number of UK and US catalogues with songs recorded by such artists as Russell Watson, Shelby Lynne, Martine McCutcheon, Reba McIntyre, Alan Jackson, Keith Urban, Alison Moorer and Morrissey together with the TV commercials of Mattel Toys.

The company was re-launched in February 2001 as Multiplay Music with offices in the UK and Sweden run by Kevin White and Fredrik Tragardh respectively.
The summer of 2001 saw the opening of an affiliate office in Brisbane, Australia fronted by Hayden Bell and was followed in August 2004 by the opening of an additional partner office in Germany. Located in Munich, it is headed up by Katharina Aliaga Leiva and Florian Lormes.

The emphasis of the organisation is on music publishing, music production, writer, artist and producer management.

Multiplay Music’s publishing catalogue now contains over 1000 copyrights, with an additional 1000 copyrights being represented on behalf of other companies, and we have worked on in excess of 100 international productions since our launch for labels including Sony/BMG, Columbia, East West, EMI, Epic, Jive, JVC, Universal and Warner Music as well as many independents.
